Meet William

A month ago I introduced you to one of the real life characters in my current work in progress, Legacy of Faith: Jennie McKillican, my 3x great aunt who served as a missionary in China.

Now I’d like to share a bit about her grandfather, William.

William McKillican was a Congregational minister in Scotland during the Highland Clearances.  When his entire church emigrated to Canada, he took his family and followed them.  I’m exploring just what kind of sacrifices that meant for him, and the spiritual legacy he left behind.
