OK, so one of my simplest goals was to set up a blogging schedule. So why did that seem the hardest??
I know me — if I don’t think I can do it perfectly, my natural bent is to put it off for so long the task becomes meaningless. So in the interests of crossing a goal off my list, here goes. These are working titles, and I reserve the right to change around the schedule if it doesn’t work. (I’m saying that for my little OCD self)
Motivation Monday
I plan on sharing little tips and inspirations to help my readers (and myself) get a jumpstart on the work week.
Critique Tuesday
I’ll be posting a brief excerpt from a work in progress and looking for feedback. Also, any writers out there feel free to be brave and post a link to your own brief excerpt that you’d like critiqued. I’ll work out the logistics as we go.
Writer Wednesday
Also for my fellow writers, or those who aspire, I’ll be posting a creative challenge to get the juices flowing. In the interest of collaboration, I’d love to hear what results you get from these little exercises.
Thursday
(virtual points awarded to the person who can give me a catchy title for this one, cause I’m coming up blank) I’ll be recommending and reviewing books and maybe movies I’ve enjoyed, because, hey, none of us work all the time. Personally, I don’t have time to wade through all the books out there and I know you don’t either.
Fact Friday
I’ve amassed quite a collection of interesting trivia from all my historical research for writing, so for anyone who is so inclined, I’ll be sharing a little fact each Friday from my little trivia treasure trove.
If there’s anything I’ve missed that the writerly/readerly/generally creative community would like to hear about, please let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate. 🙂

Congratulations on getting your schedule worked out. As a fairly non-organized person, my goal is to try and pre-plan at least 1-2 posts per week on my blogging calendar (yes, I have one of those now!). I haven’t gotten there consistently yet, but I’m working on it. Pre-writing/scheduling them would be an amazing feat!
As for Thursdays, if the books are all going to be recommendations, maybe Thursday Treasures. Or, if more mixed reviews, maybe Thursday Titles, or Trade Edition Thursday. Good luck with that!
