So in August I made some goals for the new (school) year and I thought it would be interesting to see how I’m doing. It’s always useful to take stock of where you are and where you plan to be.
1) Training the puppy.
Tink is a pretty awesome doggie, and at 7 months she’s doing pretty well. I think I can pretty much check the urgent part of this at least off my list.
2) Finish my wip before Christmas.
Ok, so I didn’t do this one. But I did write an entire other novel for NaNoWriMo. Does that count? 🙂 My revised goal will be to finish this by the spring.
3) Regular writing routine.
I did really well on this through November! But then I haven’t done it since. I plan to get back into the groove.
4) Set up a blogging schedule.
This one was dismal. This is a huge priority for me going forward.
5) Run a contest and a book signing.
Ok, so I chickened out on the contest. But there’s still time! And the book signing is in the works for the spring.
I know what I need to do going forward, along with a couple of other things:
6) Get back in shape.
This is so cliche, I know. But I’d like not to get winded climbing the stairs, and I’d like to reverse my slow and steady weight gain before it runs away on me.
7) Edit my NaNo novel and get it out there.
